EMILY Device: United States Representative Martha McSally toured Hydronalix last Friday. Hydronalix is a recognized, high-tech, small business that develops maritime robotic technologies. They are the producer of the Emergency Integrated Lifesaving Lanyard (EMILY) named after Emily Shane. Thus far, the EMILY device has received international praise. It's been named Invention of the Year by Popular Science in the Security category, and it was named as #7 best invention of the year by TIME Magazine.
What a great way to continue to honor Emily's memory, even beyond the SEA program and our pay it forward initiatives.
