Ellen Shane, our dedicated Executive Director, is the driving force behind The Emily Shane Foundation and is a passionate advocate for educational equity, which is the purpose of the SEA Program. Her life’s direction took a profound turn due to the tragic murder of her daughter, Emily, in 2010. The foundation is a tribute to Emily’s memory and is her life’s calling.

With her guidance, we empower these students to unleash their full academic and personal potential, fostering a brighter future.
